Located as it is in the close proximity of MONTE CUCCO, in a vast Park area of secular trees and a sound, unblemished landscape, in this Oasis of Peace and Relax, you can really live up…. All the warmth, and all the feelings… of the original inhabitants of this Region. Its position in the very heart of the Regional Park of Monte Cucco, near the border between Umbria and Marche, is just off (about 1,2 km) the historical Via Flaminia, a national route which was built by the Romans some two centuries before Christ. It is also just about half way between the Adriatic Sea and Lake Trasimento, at the center of the Appennini Mountains and their green forests and picturesque meadows.
The towns nearby Villa Pascolo are full history, with unique cultural and artisan traditions. The town of Gubbio, for example, dates back to the middle ages and is celebrated for its art ceramics. We have then Assisi, the hometown of st. Francis, with its blessing and sound spiritual life. Just as interesting are the towns of Spello, Spoleto, Nocera Umbra, Gualdo Tadino and Fabriano. Froom Fabriano you can reach the nearby magnicent “Grotte di Frasassi” which are indeed world-famous. Just a bit father are also the historical cities of Perugia and Urbino.
